“Social Media: Using Virtual Strategies for Real Results,” a free workshop hosted by the Community Loan Fund on Wednesday September 7th from 7 to 8:30 pm.  It will be at 255 Orange Street in Albany (2 nd floor conference room) and is designed for small businesses and non-profits.  Our presenter, Norreida Reyes, is a public relations specialist with Ed Lewi Associates and has experience designing and implementing grassroots and social media marketing campaigns.

Additional food and drink specials will be available and the mood will be set with smooth jazz performed by The Doug Harris Frank Maston Duo Thomas Hyland 'Cool Climate' Chardonnay 2009 A Southern Australian Chardonnay that is light straw in colour. A fine array of cool climate Chardonnay characters of white peach and lifted aromas of fresh citrus fruits. Subtle and balanced French oak provides support with wafts of pecan. Creamy stone fruit notes with a fine minerality down the middle of the palate, offering precision and length. Citrus acidity keeps the palate taut and tight- the oak barely there- enough to provide complexity without dominating the pure Adelaide Hills fruit characters. Trivento Malbec Rated a 90 by the Wine Spectator Lush and very expressive with mocha, crushed currant, plum sauce and fig paste notes that glide over the dense but velvety structure. Long and fleshy, with the fruit echoing nicely. Not shy at all but nicely balanced.
